Porcellio Dilatatus - Giant Canyon (Rust)

from $20.00

(Shipping info at bottom!)

This species didn’t get called giant for a reason, growing quite wide and reaching lengths of 1 inch at adulthood. This morph of Giant Canyons is a bit more reddish brown than regular Giant Canyons. A very easy to keep isopod due to being quite prolific, liking less moisture than usual, and being able to survive in many environments ranging from arid, semi-arid, and temperate respectively. This isopod can be great as a pet or even used as a clean-up crew in more dry bio-active enclosures. Due to being quite prolific, they can be used as a feeder in a pinch!

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT SHIPPING:

We always throw in 1-X over what the count says so you are guaranteed to get some extras!

We ship our isopods in a secure container that has everything the isopod needs for their journey! This includes moss, some food for the road, and insulating packs dependent on the temperature.

We will do a check to ensure that the temperatures are within a safe shipping range (40º-90º) during their trip. We may hold them back to ensure weather and temperature conditions are proper, which will be communicated with you!

A short about Grubs ‘N’ Tubs:
We are two old friends who got really into collecting various kinds of isopods, roaches, millipedes, and other critters. So much so that we decided to share our love with you guys!
We run this business and website between just the two of us - so feel free to reach out and let us know if there are any improvements on the site or if there are any cool critters you want to see from us! Thanks for stopping by and checking us out! <3
