Porcellio Laevis - Orange

from $5.00

(Shipping info at bottom!)

This Laevis species is quite prolific and hungry to boot! Hailing from Spain, this Laevis morph is a voracious eater and is not recommended to keep in bio-active setups with animals that are small or shed (They will literally try to eat it!). We recommend keeping these guys in a pretty dry enclosure with ample ventilation, a moist area will be needed still. These isopods will need more protein/calcium due to being a Laevis, so make sure you keep up on feeding if you don’t want them to start eating each other!

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT SHIPPING:

We always throw in 1-X over what the count says so you are guaranteed to get some extras!

We ship our isopods in a secure container that has everything the isopod needs for their journey! This includes moss, some food for the road, and insulating packs dependent on the temperature.

We will do a check to ensure that the temperatures are within a safe shipping range (40º-90º) during their trip. We may hold them back to ensure weather and temperature conditions are proper, which will be communicated with you!

A short about Grubs ‘N’ Tubs:
We are two old friends who got really into collecting various kinds of isopods, roaches, millipedes, and other critters. So much so that we decided to share our love with you guys!
We run this business and website between just the two of us - so feel free to reach out and let us know if there are any improvements on the site or if there are any cool critters you want to see from us! Thanks for stopping by and checking us out! <3
